The fact that Subaru recalled our car to check out the alleged defect was very reassuring in itself. The way that the service staff at Ashburton Motor Works Ltd welcomed us and dealt with the procedure was top of the shop! They also went the extra mile and gave us a "Free Vehicle Health Check" which our car passed with credit! We were also complemented on the condition of our Subaru Impreza RX Wagon and were told that they would be very glad to enter into a part exchange deal for it.

Europa gave excellent service. They allowed us to borrow their demnonstrator of the 2 litre petrol lineartronic for up to a day, including insurance cover. The only negative was it was our petrol, whereas Honda agent filled their CRV up!.

My car was recalled. But I have to say the waiting area is excellent. So much so that I will be bringing my car here in future. My 2 year old played happily and I even got a cup of tea.

Everyone was extremely polite and professional, it was appreciated to receive a phone call regarding extra work which was required on the car. The only problem is the parking, not much room was worried that I might comeback to a dented or scratched car.

I was very pleased with the way I was greeted. Providing a car whilst mine was geing sorted was very helpful. When I returned to collect my car was not yet ready but I was provided with a coffee and the car was very soon ready to go.

Really friendly sales people, nothing too much bother. Small enough to care, and not treat me as just another number, which is how the Land Rover dealership treated me. I cancelled my order for an Evoque and placed an order for an XV with Westaway.

positive, made to think that our custom was important. Actual test drive was very good, I went on to buy the car! Everyone we came into contact with made us feel most welcome and were very polite to us and could not have been more helpful.

I have bought 14 cars from them over the years precisely because the service is good. And I have experienced service of other dealers notably VW and BMW and the contrast is very marked.

Our Subaru Star ratings are based on responses to our customer satisfaction surveys, which are completed at every stage of your experience with Subaru from enquiry to service. All surveys are completed by real customers who are contacted independently following their visit to one of our dealerships.
The Subaru Star Rating system is based on a single question:
‘Using a scale of 0 to 10, where 0 is not-at-all and 10 is definitely — how likely are you to recommend Subaru to family, friends or colleagues?’
A dealer must have had at least three responses to their surveys in the previous 90 day period to achieve a rating. Please note that not all customer comments are posted to our dealer locator, but all ratings are included to determine the Subaru Star Rating. This is due to a screening process to identify unsuitable responses, as well as receiving some responses via paper survey responses.
Each dealer will be given a star rating from 3 to 5. The meanings are explained below:
