Subaru pride themselves on their innovative range of technologies. But this isn’t innovation that brings complication - each and every advancement has one overriding philosophy: to provide you with supreme driving satisfaction and total drivability at all times.
More About SubaruThe determined development of Symmetrical AWD and new technologies have been the driving force behind Subaru for many years now.
The reason for such dedication is that Subaru wants to get back to the basics - building cars that more and more people can enjoy handling with complete confidence.
More About AWDThe initial development work for the world’s first BOXER DIESEL for passenger cars began in 1999 with a team of only four engineers.
By that time diesel engine performance had been dramatically improved through technological advances in the control of combustion, and the diesel engine had proven to be a promising power unit with even less carbon dioxide emission.
More About Boxer DieselCollision safety performance has been improved with the addition of new features in the Legacy, including the revolutionary “Cradle Mount System” and “Ring-Shaped Reinforcement Frames body.”

Judgement day beckons for the shortlisted entries in the Heart of England in Bloom competition – a key part of the national Britain in Bloom initiative that recognises urban gardening projects that ‘clean up and green up’ local communities. Subaru is giving its backing by providing vehicles for the team of judges that will this month embark on an epic seven-county tour to pick their winners.
The collaboration was co-ordinated by Colin McRae Vision and Subaru dealer Alex F. Noble & Son, which was set up in the aftermath of the helicopter accident that killed Britain’s first World Rally Champion. The gleaming new addition to the Foundation’s fleet was then collected from the Midlothian Subaru dealership.
It’s official! The Subaru Houghton International is Europe’s biggest international horse trials, with some 358 riders competing in this year’s four-day extravaganza in Norfolk, held between 27 and 30 May.
