We’re thrilled to announce that Subaru UK is the official title sponsor of the Keswick Mountain Festival 2025, taking place from 16th–18th May in the heart of the Lake District. One of the UK’s most popular outdoor lifestyle festivals, KMF25 promises a weekend packed with adventure, live music, sporting challenges, and inspirational experiences – all set against the breathtaking backdrop of Cumbria’s iconic fells and lakes.

Attracting over 15,000 visitors each year, the festival brings together families, fitness enthusiasts, and outdoor adventurers for a unique blend of trail races, mountain sports, open-water swimming, talks, workshops, and live entertainment. It’s the perfect match for Subaru – a brand built on capability, durability, and a love for the great outdoors.

As proud title sponsor, we’re especially excited to be supporting the Subaru Open 5 Adventure Race, taking place on Sunday 18th May. This demanding five-hour endurance challenge is open to solos and pairs and combines trail running, mountain biking, and navigation – testing stamina, strategy and spirit. Prizes await the top scorers, but the real reward lies in the thrill of the experience.

Lyndsey Flood, Head of Marketing at Subaru UK and Ireland, said: "We're delighted to have partnered with the Keswick Mountain Festival, becoming the title sponsor for 2025. We’re known around the world for building cars for people who love adventure and aren’t afraid to stray a little off the beaten track, so KMF25 really is the perfect fit for our brand. KMF25 will allow us to showcase our sector-leading model range with like-minded people, bringing our ‘safe, tough, fun’ philosophy to life against a backdrop of adventurous, outdoor-oriented living.

With the KMF held where it is - surrounded by the challenging, rugged terrain of the Lake District - it provides the ideal backdrop to showcase what makes our vehicles truly special. We can’t wait to engage with the festival community later this month in one of Britain's most spectacular natural settings."

Throughout the weekend, festivalgoers will have the chance to get up close with the all-new 2025 Subaru Forester – the ultimate companion for outdoor lifestyles. Built with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and rugged capability as standard, it’s designed to tackle everything from winding mountain roads to muddy festival tracks.

Visitors can explore the Subaru stand, take in the stunning scenery from our branded viewing point, and even snap a photo to mark their adventure. We’ll also have a range of activities and information available for those curious about what makes a Subaru truly unique.

Jamie Simpson, Marketing & Commercial Director at Keswick Mountain Festival, said, “We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome Subaru UK & Ireland as title sponsor for KMF25. Their commitment to adventure and connection with the outdoors aligns perfectly with everything our festival stands for. KMF is all about inspiring people to push boundaries, try something new and embrace the stunning natural environment we’re lucky enough to call home — values that Subaru not only shares, but lives. We’re excited to bring this partnership to life and can’t wait for festival goers to experience it first-hand in May.”

At the heart of the event lies the Festival Village at Crow Park, overlooking Derwentwater with panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. It’s open to all during the day and transforms into a vibrant music and entertainment hub each evening (ticketed from 5pm). Opening hours are 12:00 Friday, and 09:00 Saturday and Sunday, with the event wrapping up at 17:00 on Sunday.

So whether you’re chasing your next physical challenge, hunting down new kit, or simply soaking up the atmosphere with family and friends, KMF25 is where adventure begins.

We can’t wait to see you there.
