The all-new Subaru Uncharted has officially made its public dynamic debut in the UK, taking centre stage as the Official Safety Car for the FIM World Superbike Championship (WorldSBK) at Donington Park.

Supporting the eighth round of the 2026 championship from 10–12 July, the all-electric Subaru Uncharted demonstrated its impressive performance, capability and electrified technology on one of the UK's most iconic racing circuits. The event also marked the second year of Subaru's partnership with WorldSBK, reinforcing a shared passion for innovation, performance and sustainability.

Leading the action on track

Throughout the weekend, the Subaru Uncharted was a constant presence on the Grand Prix circuit. Finished in a striking WorldSBK safety car livery, it completed track assessments, led riders during sighting laps and was ready for deployment whenever required during on-track incidents.

Away from the racing action, guests also had the opportunity to experience the Uncharted first-hand, with a fleet of vehicles providing high-speed passenger rides at designated points across the event.

Electrified performance with Subaru capability

The Subaru Uncharted Safety Car is a standard production vehicle, showcasing the capability of Subaru's latest all-electric technology without requiring any specialist race modifications.

Powered by Subaru's permanent Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system, engineered specifically for an electric drivetrain, the Uncharted combines confident handling with responsive performance. With an estimated electric range of more than 300 miles (WLTP), approximately 430 Nm of combined torque and 0–62 mph acceleration in just 5.0 seconds, it delivered the performance needed both on and off the circuit. During its time on track, the vehicle also utilised its optional POWER drive mode for enhanced performance.

Driving towards a more sustainable future

Subaru's continued partnership with WorldSBK reflects a shared commitment to technological progress and lower-emission mobility. As the brand continues its electrification journey, the Uncharted represents an exciting step towards Subaru's long-term ambition of achieving carbon neutrality across its lifecycle operations by 2050, while expanding electrified technologies across the Subaru model range throughout the early 2030s.

The all-new Subaru Uncharted is expected to launch in the UK in early 2027, with further details to be announced in the coming months. Stay tuned for more updates as we prepare to welcome the next generation of all-electric Subaru capability.
